Would you love to create your own abstract artwork?

Marissa Lico from The Art Edit will guide you through the process in our hands-on Workshops. Whether beginner or returner, all are welcome to join Resin Art, Alcohol Ink Art, or both!

INCLUDED: ALL MATERIALS

You will:

• watch a demonstration.

• engage in artmaking discussions, if you wish. 

• learn what the used medium is and how to safely work with it on specific surfaces. 

• learn how to mix and add colour.

• learn the key techniques of working with the mediums.

• create your own abstract artwork on:

- Resin Art: a primed 30cm circular art board, using a colour palette of your choosing. This is perfect for displaying or hanging afterwards.

- Alcohol Ink Art: 18 x 13" Yupo Paper, using a colour palette of your choosing. This is perfect for framing or mounting afterwards.

• paint in a fun-filled environment with other like-minded individuals.

PLEASE NOTE: 

• No refunds within 2 weeks of the event.

• You must be 18 years or older to participate. We do not recommend the Resin Art workshop to pregnant women as chemicals in the form of resins are used.

• Beginners: It is recommended that you select the beginner ticket if it is your first time creating.

• Artworks will be left  for the Resin to partly cure & you will be required to collect it from the venue the following morning. During winter, curing time may be longer in which next-day collection is required.

• Basic aprons and masks are provided, though if you wish to bring your own, including a higher protection or full-face respirator mask, feel free.

• Old clothing and closed-in shoes are recommended as we get magnificently messy in the workshop!

• Please arrive 10 minutes before the start time of the workshop.
